Wok&Go Liverpool Central fundraising

 On the 14th December, the proactive staff at our busy Liverpool Central store took part in Christmas Jumper Day, organised by Save the Children. Everyone wore their brightest jumpers to join the charity’s mission to ‘Make the World Better, with a Christmas Sweater’.

 Our result

 Thanks to their commitment and enthusiasm, they raised £33.05 in just one day.

 This could pay for antibiotics for 80 children suffering from pneumonia, provide educational toys to help a child in the UK learn through playing, or equip two midwives in Afghanistan with birthing kits so that they can safely bring new life into the world.

 ‘My team is so pleased to have raised money for such a good cause,’ said our Liverpool Central manager Saffron Worrell, ‘and they all look forward to raising even more next year.’
